Democrats keep trying to appeal to “decent” conservatives because they hate their own party supporters so much. The decent Republicans in response like to complain bitterly about how mean Democrats are to them but they certainly have no intention of ever voting for them. Generally speaking they’re pretty happy having their party controlling the presidency, Congress and most governorships. Even Trump makes them happy.

Everything makes sense when you realise that the Democratic party is just a faction of a ruling duopoly, the purpose of which is not so much about winning and holding political power and enacting a progressive agenda but much more about making Leftist politics in the United States completely impossible. In this goal I think it’s fair to say that they’ve been fabulously successful.

Can’t really argue with the assertion that Preact is the JS framework to beat.

Can’t really argue with the assertion that Preact is the JS framework to beat. Basically it’s a drop in replacement for React which is surprisingly slow (around the same speed as the latest version of AngularJS).

Interesting also that VueJS really holds its own when it comes to performance.

No inclusion of Angular 2 in these tests unfortunately.

“It has been more than a decade since I found out I am autistic, and I am still working through the trauma from not knowing — and it is likely something I will continue to struggle with for the rest of my life. The tools that are helping me to heal have overwhelmingly come from within the autistic community. I can only wonder what my life could have been like, if I had been given access to such resources as a child.”
