The problem is that he wasn’t pushed out for any significant breach of conduct but because of a storm in a tea cup brewed up by the security services. This stuff should give progressives pause. The Deep State is NOT your friend and the tactics used against Flynn could easily be turned against anyone with the purpose of destroying their reputation. Innuendo and selective leaking of conversations in an effort to create the impression of something more sinister going on is the stock-in-trade of a police state. Trump is certainly bad but America’s gang of spook agencies is even worse.
