Probably fucked up forever the chances of religious schools to continue discrimination against LGBT kids and teachers. If he hadn’t called for an inquiry into this they could have still been able to discriminate under the status quo. Now Australians have overwhelmingly said No to allowing any discrimination at all. These idiot conservatives still imagine they are the majority, a completely unfounded idea.

Allowed a vote of support of Pauline Hanson’s “it’s OK to be White” racist idiot motion. Then claimed the vote was an accident caused by an “administrative error” that caused the government to vote for a KKK generated meme.

Scumo decides to move Australia’s embassy into occupied Jerusalem. Puts $4 billion of trade with Indonesia plus many other nations in doubt. Australia-Israel trade around $150 million. For absolutely no diplomatic gain. Next step redefining the debased term “anti-Semitism” to mean anyone who thinks Bibi is a piece of shit and an arsehole.

Surely a week worthy, and possibly exceeding that of peak Tony Abbott.

A cool thing I discovered this evening is that I am mentioned in Wikipedia for something I designed back in 1983.

This was a Z80 based computer kit that sold in Australia for about $100. I made the original circuit and programmed the ROM, my friend Ken Stone designed the final PCB art and got it ready in a kit form for Talking Electronics magazine.
