Human atrocity still going on at large scale in this world. The papers are labelling it genocide, which I believe is very serious.

Some of the stories told are just barbaric and makes me feel sad at being part of the human species.

This is an unreasonable nickpick.

This is an unreasonable nickpick. In a America there are so many gun massacres you can’t help but do something which coincides with a gun massacre anniversary. In fact gun massacre anniversaries are so common some days are actually gun massacre “super-anniversaries”, ie. days which mark multiple gun massacres that happened on the same day. How is a reasonable president supposed to act when he’s hemmed in by gun massacre anniversaries on all sides? 🤔

As if any more evidence was needed that Trump not only doesn’t care one iota for anybody but himself, he’s given up any pretense of attempting to at least look like he cares about something other than himself.

And he really outdid his usual tone deafness this time.

If confronted about this, I’m sure his excuse will be something about there now being so many mass shootings that the calendar is now full of anniversaries.

If that’s true, isn’t it about time Trump did something about it, rather than sitting there with his thumb up his ass?

Not only did Donald Trump not tweet out messages of condolences for families who lost loved ones five years ago on Thursday at the Sand Hook gun massacre in Connecticut, and not only did White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on that day insist there’s simply nothing that can be done to battle American epidemic of gun violence, but Trump himself managed to insult the Sandy Hook families in another appalling way.

In a craven display of collective indifference, Trump hosted Wayne LaPierre, the controversial head of the NRA, at the White House on Thursday night, as families and friends of the elementary school gun massacre were remembering the victims of the horrific killing spree.
