A newspaper in Turkey which is close to the government printed a headline today stating that if Turkey went to war they could take all of Europe and have their prayers in Rome in just two days time. Unless those Kebab shops are secret military bases and those minarets ballistic missiles I highly doubt it. Greece and Bulgaria alone will have pushed their asses back over the Bosphorus even before other European help is called. Then the Polish winged hussars will have arrived. Then the Hungarian troops , each of them carrying a little fence. They love their fences. Then everything made of metal will have disappeared. Guns , tanks , key-chains , all gone. The Romanians have arrived. There’s chaos. People are fighting with sticks. For some demented reason all the Hungarians get impaled. In all the confusion , the Serbians killed all Kosovar men and impregnated their women with proper Serbian Christian children. Croatian observers want to write a memo criticizing this abomination but can’t bring themselves to admit they they speak Serbian. They embrace Fascism instead. A Bosnian Army shows up on a hill , doesn’t know on which side it’s on , goes back home. Then the Macedonians march in carrying a Macedonian flag. Are immediately attacked by the Greek Army. Everybody called Alexander is swiftly put to death. We’re now in the second day of the War. Hordes of Albanian soldiers are scavenging the fields of battle for left-over organs.

This is a very good development. I guess it took a questionable election to stimulate questions about the security of these ridiculously insecure devices.

The Russians probably didn’t hack these machines in a coordinated attack on the election but it seems likely that people have done it over the years.

Even well designed devices would be hard to secure. These are not well designed devices.
