Standing up for West Papua. Half of the island of Papua (the other half is Papua New Guinea) was handed to Indonesia in the 1960s without the consent of its population. This was done with Australia’s full collaboration. Today, West Papua is being ruthlessly colonised and exploited by Indonesia’s armed forces and it’s ruling elite. Something needs to be done about this.
